SZNS Solutions has recently been honored with being selected as one of a small group of Strategic Partners for AI by Google Public Sector. This partnership positions us to provide expert solutions and implementations with Google to government agencies in adopting Google's AI capabilities, with a focus on Gemini Enterprise and custom agent development using the Agent Development Kit (ADK).

Our work centers on helping government organizations move beyond pilot projects to production AI systems that solve real operational problems. We're building agents that automate workflows, extract insights from data spread across multiple systems, and reduce the manual work that slows down critical government operations.

Gemini Enterprise for Government

Gemini Enterprise (f.k.a. Agentspace) is Google's comprehensive platform that enables both introductory efforts on getting started with AI and also enabling enterprises to reshape the entirety of how the organization operates. At its core, an AI agent is software that perceives its environment, makes decisions, and takes actions to achieve specific goals. Gemini Enterprise amplifies this by connecting your applications to Google's multimodal search capabilities, powered by Gemini. And a new frontier is opened for what is possible.

The platform comes in three tiers. NotebookLM Enterprise helps teams analyze documents and generate insights. Gemini Enterprise Enterprise provides organization-wide search that connects to your data sources and applications. Gemini Enterprise Enterprise Plus adds custom agent deployment for specific business functions and multi-step workflow automation.

What makes this relevant for government is the pre-built connectivity. Gemini Enterprise connects to Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and other systems government agencies already use. Data can be federated (retrieved directly from the source) or ingested (pulled into Vertex AI Search), then stored in data stores that agents query to respond to requests.

For building custom agents, Google offers three methods. The Agent Gallery acts as a central hub for managing all agents across your organization. Agent Designer lets you create agents using natural language descriptions without writing code. The ADK gives developers a framework for building more sophisticated agents with custom logic and integrations.

Building Agents That Work

We've been developing agentic workflows with Gemini Enterprise and the ADK since early 2025. Here's an example of what this looks like in practice.

Government agencies process thousands of invoices from contractors and vendors. Traditionally, staff opens each email, downloads the invoice attachment, manually enters data into financial systems, and routes for approval. This consumes hours of time and introduces errors.

With AI agents, we can automate this workflow. An agent monitors incoming email, extracts invoice numbers, purchase order numbers, dates, and vendor information from attachments, then writes the structured data to BigQuery or another repository. The data becomes immediately available to accounting teams and financial systems. The same pattern applies to contract processing, grant applications, FOIA requests, and other document-heavy workflows common in government.

This isn't a single agent but a multi-agent system. A workflow agent orchestrates the overall process. LLM agents handle document understanding and extraction. Custom agents manage the connections to your specific systems and business logic. These agents can be added to your Gemini Enterprise gallery and shared across departments.

Why This Matters

The value comes from several directions. Teams spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on work that requires judgment and expertise. Operational costs drop as high-volume workflows get automated. Citizens get faster responses because agents provide answers 24/7 and surface information instantly when human staff need it. Staff work more efficiently because they access information from multiple systems through a single interface rather than switching between applications. Data quality improves because machines transcribe and process information without the typos and transposition errors that come from manual entry.
